WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WEB 1.0, WEB 2.0, WEB 3.0

WWW is stand for World Wide Web which was launched in 1991. But for the best advanced technology new versions are in the form of web 2.0 and 3.0 came into existence. The new versions of web are more comfortable and easier as compare to the web 1.0. But most of us are confused about the changes and the evolution that took place. 

Web 1.0

As the name define web 1.0 is the first reiteration of web. Actually it was called ‘the internet’ when it was launched not version 1 or web 1.0. it generally called the Read-Only era before it used in 1999 by experts. The main quality of ‘the internet’ not Web 1.0 was hyper-linking and bookmarking of the web page. And one thing which is very important to know ‘the internet’ consisted only the online guestbook and frame sets  In this no flow or communication between consumer and producer of the information. In facts in this the emails were sent through the HTML form. The best example of “The Internet” is static websites which were made during the ‘.com evolution’. It is the “readable” phrase of the World Wide Web with flat data. There is only limited interaction between sites and web users.

Web 2.0

Actually Web 2.0 is just a ’jargon’ that define the changes in how people interact with the Web that make different between “The Internet” and Web 2.0. In Web 2.0 the information is very dynamic and the information can changed is extremely fast. It is the “readable” phrase of the World Wide Web with flat. Examples of Web 2.0 application are YouTube, Wiki, Flicker, Face book, and so on.  It makes a conversation between the original author of the content and all those who can comment or participate. It allows users to interact more freely with each other. Web 2.0 encourages participation, collaboration, and information sharing. It is not only what you see that has improved in Web 2.0 but also what you can do. It also allowed user to publish their own content through few basic steps which was not possible in the Web 1.0 “The Internet”.

Web 3.0

Web 3.0 is the extension of  Web 2.0. It also known as third generation of World Wide Web. In this version you can get everything whatever you wish for. With the help of Web 3.0 web content was easily carried in the form of natural language. According its features it also known as Al(Artificial Intelligence). In it human and machine can interact in symbiosis like mind controlled interfaces. It make searching on the internet easier. I think you notice that when we start entering a keyword in Google, it shows related words saving us from typing entire sentences. The Example of Web 3.0 is Tivo, a digital video recorder
